Last Halloween I made these delicious Milk Chocolate Tequila & Cayenne Pepper Truffles. They were darn delicious. This year for Halloween I changed it up, and made these Milk Chocolate Raspberry Vodka Truffles. Whoa. Sinful and Satisfying. In the pic below are the truffles with vanilla cupcakes, cream cheese frosting, topped with an oreo and a chocolate dipped strawberry.

I made these for my sisters kids when I stayed over the weekend before my nephews bar mitzvah. They were devoured within 10 minutes of my entering the apartment.
My first attempt at gluten-free cooking. The cake came out a little on the dryer side with the gluten free flour so I’ve edited the recipe by decreasing the amount of dry ingredients. If you find that is too dry after baking, drizzle some raspberry liqueur or raspberry syrup over the cake.
Definitely a crowd pleaser. Made this for shabbat when I had a few friends coming over.
One of my co-residents had “Fajita night” at her apartment a few months ago. Of course, there were a handful of people who had never heard of fajita’s, and kept asking what a “fudge-eye-ta” was and why this was even a thing. Oy. So much to learn. Anyways, I made these cupcakes for dessert.
Salmon: the other orange meat. Ok fine it might be the only orange meat. But hey, what to do. Its flaky, juicy, and mui delicioso. Sprinkled with home-roasted nuts, marinated in a delicious Sake and honey glaze, over crispy greens… yum. This is sure to be a hit for any meal. If you don’t have or don’t want to invest in Sake (which I could never understand) you can probably use rice wine vinegar, just adjust the amount to taste.
For those crazy guys who go hardcore at the gym and live on NO Xplode and Whey Protein, here’s a great way to break that diet and turn that 6 pack into a 4 pack. Eat a slice of cheesecake. You’ll feel better. Trust me. This cheesecake is rich, creamy, and delicious. you will love every bite.
Really? Does this even need an introduction? Lemon Vodka, Strawberry jam, Lemon vodka cupcakes, lemon vodka icing… Life doesnt get much better. You do need to make the vodka the day before… The longer it sits the better it gets. Or you can just buy Limoncello, but a) its presweetened, so if you make this you control the sugar content and b) the russian in me just always has vodka in the house. PS These are non-dairy.
