Maple Mustard Salmon

I don’t often cook with fish just because I’m too lazy to go out and buy fresh fish when I want to cook with it. Instead I do what any respectable young man does: order in sushi. But this Shabbos I decided to be a little adventurous and cooked up some fish fillet (yes thats a Kanye reference, get used to it). Try this recipe out next time you want an easy quick fish dinner. Served on the side are apple beet tarts and a fresh salad with roasted broccoli.

Acorn Squash Ravioli in a Pareve White Wine “Beurre Blanc” Sauce

I have come to accept the fact that the closest I will get to Gabe Saporta is this:

I accept it. Doesn’t mean I like it. But no matter. I’m still super baller. His loss. And yes, dude. I’m an awesome dentist. I’m doing double-dontics for cryin out loud!!! Anyways, I was watching some show on Food Network, and this particular chef (highly likely that it was Claire Robinson) was making a beurre blanc sauce with an entire pound of butter. As good as it looked, I knew I could still one-up it, and make it non-dairy in the process, while still maintaining some semblance of health. Because I’m just so awesome. You know its true, don’t try to argue. You won’t win.

Home Made Granola

Yummerz. All I have to say about this one. Not gonna lie, food network does inspire some of my creations. I was watching Giada and she made this granola that looked gross, with cranberry juice. Giada, you may be a celebrity chef, but you are not a dentist in a dual specialty program. So by default I already 1-up you. And now i 2-up’ed you with my own version of granola thats delicious, sweet, crunchy, and will definitely keep me employed with the amount of sugar thats in there. Kidding, kidding. Maybe. Anywayz, enjoy this deliciousness with milk, as you would eat cereal, or with yogurt and/or fresh fruit, or with ice cream, or atop your favorite salad instead of croutons.
