Sake Marinated Salmon Salad

Salmon: the other orange meat. Ok fine it might be the only orange meat. But hey, what to do. Its flaky, juicy, and mui delicioso. Sprinkled with home-roasted nuts, marinated in a delicious Sake and honey glaze, over crispy greens… yum. This is sure to be a hit for any meal. If you don’t have or don’t want to invest in Sake (which I could never understand) you can probably use rice wine vinegar, just adjust the amount to taste.

Maple Mustard Salmon

I don’t often cook with fish just because I’m too lazy to go out and buy fresh fish when I want to cook with it. Instead I do what any respectable young man does: order in sushi. But this Shabbos I decided to be a little adventurous and cooked up some fish fillet (yes thats a Kanye reference, get used to it). Try this recipe out next time you want an easy quick fish dinner. Served on the side are apple beet tarts and a fresh salad with roasted broccoli.

Baked Salmon with Blackberry Ginger Glaze

was watching food network today and saw Sonny make this on “Cooking for Real.” looked delicious. you could probably use a mix of blackberries and blueberries for some great flavor. and if blackberries arent in season when you make this, i would totally use blackberry preserves.
