Sorry for my ridiculously long absence. It ain’t easy being a dental resident. We have exams, we have surgeries, we have girls chasing us…. C’est la vie, friends. C’est la vie. Anyways go make this delicious roasted tomato soup. Serve it as a soup, or as shooters in little shot glasses as an appetizer. You can garnish with some chopped spinach or basil and a dash of heavy cream, or with just some thinly sliced radishes for the crunchy spicy kick. Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back. Wait, no. I keep the cash. Sorry.

Margherita Pizza
I spent 5 years at Ezra Academy, and every Friday for those 5 years, we were served Pizza Bagels. Now let me describe this travesty of a lunch. For 50 cents a piece we got left over bagels from the week, with a squirt of ketchup and a slice of american white cheese on top, baked to something very very far from perfection. Thanks, Herman and Felicia, for feeding us. With the same food. Every day. Thank Gd we had the vending machines. Good gracious I wish I had a picture to show you of what Pizza Bagels a la Herman and Felicia looked like. But 7 years out of high school, alas, they are probably lost. Or corporeal instead of digital. Anyways, whether you’re an Ezra Alum or just a lover of easy food, you will certainly appreciate this updated easy pizza. PS you do NOT have to make your own dough.
Veal Breast Roulade Roast
This was the ingenius collaboration of my self and mi madre over Sukkot. She supplied the meats, I supplied the spices, and voila! Magic. In a roasting pan. Enjoy! PS eating the garlic cloves after is SOOOO tasty. Just squeeze the garlic right out of its skin. It becomes sweet and scrumptious. Trust me. I AM a dentist, after all. Thats gotta count for something here.
